FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Qrypt and crypto payments.

General

What is Qrypt?

Qrypt is a crypto payment processing platform built for businesses. Your customers pay with cryptocurrency and Qrypt handles the conversion — depositing certified fiat funds directly into your bank account. No wallets to manage, no exposure to price swings.

Do I need a crypto wallet to use Qrypt?

No. Merchants never interact with cryptocurrency directly. Qrypt manages all crypto operations behind the scenes. You only ever deal with dollars (or your local fiat currency).

Where is Qrypt available?

Qrypt is launching first in the United States, with expansion to the EU, UK, Canada, and other markets planned shortly after. Join the waitlist to get notified when we're live in your region.

I have a question about a payment. How do I reach support?

Contact the Qrypt team at support@qryptpay.com or reach us on X (@qryptpay). Please reach out to us directly rather than contacting our banking partners, as we are best equipped to help.

Payments

Which tokens and chains can my customers pay with?

Qrypt supports stablecoin payments on three networks: USDC, USDB, PYUSD, and EURC on Solana; USDC, USDB, and EURC on Base; and USDC and USDB on Ethereum. We add new tokens based on merchant demand — reach out if you need something not listed.

How long does a payment take to confirm?

It depends on the blockchain network. Solana transactions typically confirm in under a minute, Base in a few seconds, and Ethereum in 1–5 minutes. Qrypt provides real-time status updates so both you and your customer always know where things stand.

What happens if a customer sends the wrong amount?

If a customer underpays, the transaction is flagged and they can send the remaining balance to complete the payment. If they overpay, the excess is automatically refunded to their sending address once the transaction confirms.

Is there a minimum or maximum payment amount?

The minimum is $1.00 USD equivalent. There is no hard maximum, although transactions above certain thresholds may require additional verification in line with regulatory requirements.

My funds are missing or haven't arrived yet.

Reach out to us at support@qryptpay.com and we'll investigate right away. If you sent funds from your bank account, request a Trace ID (for ACH payments) or an IMAD (for wire transfers) from your bank — providing this information helps us track down the transaction much faster.

Settlements & Timing

When will settled funds arrive in my bank account?

It depends on the transfer method and timing. Next-day ACH transfers typically arrive within 1–3 business days. Same-day ACH transfers sent before 4:00 PM EST will arrive on the same business day. Wire transfers are generally processed within a few hours and will land same-day as long as they are initiated before 5:00 PM EST.

What settlement schedules does Qrypt offer?

You can choose between daily, weekly, or on-demand settlement. Daily payouts batch all confirmed transactions and initiate transfer at the end of each business day. Weekly payouts settle every Monday. On-demand lets you trigger a payout manually whenever you like.

My settlement shows as complete but I haven't received the funds.

First, verify the settlement status under Transactions → Settlements in the Dashboard and confirm your bank details are correct in Account Settings. ACH transfers can take 1–2 business days to land; wires are usually same-day. If more than 3 business days have passed since the settlement was marked complete, contact us at support@qryptpay.com with your settlement reference and we'll track it down.

Tip

If your bank asks for a reference or memo for an incoming transfer, you can find it in the settlement details on the Dashboard. For Chase, look for the "Message to Recipient" field when setting up your payment.

Fees & Pricing

How much does Qrypt cost?

Qrypt charges a straightforward percentage fee per transaction — no monthly minimums, no setup costs, no hidden charges. Specific pricing will be announced at launch. Waitlist members get access to preferential early-adopter rates.

Do settlements cost anything?

Daily and weekly settlements are included at no extra charge. On-demand (manual) settlements may carry a small processing fee.

Who covers the blockchain network fees?

Network fees (gas) are covered by the customer as part of their crypto transaction. The amount deposited to your account is net of Qrypt's conversion spread — not network fees.

Security

How does Qrypt protect my funds?

Qrypt never holds cryptocurrency for extended periods. Incoming crypto is converted to fiat immediately upon blockchain confirmation and settled to your bank on your chosen schedule. Our infrastructure uses bank-grade encryption, multi-party computation (MPC) key management, and is SOC 2 Type II compliant.

Is my bank account information safe?

Absolutely. All bank account details are encrypted both at rest and in transit. We use tokenized connections through established banking partners and never store raw account numbers on our servers.

Does Qrypt support two-factor authentication?

Yes, and we strongly recommend enabling it. You can set up 2FA using an authenticator app (TOTP) or SMS. Authenticator-based 2FA is the more secure option.

Bank & Account

My bank doesn't recognize the routing number. What should I do?

Qrypt settles through established banking partners whose routing numbers are registered with the Federal Reserve. If your bank flags a routing number as unrecognized, contact their support team and let them know the number is listed on the FRB Services website. The American Bankers Association (ABA) also provides an online routing number lookup tool. If issues persist, reach out to Qrypt support and we'll help resolve it.

Where do I enter the memo or reference for a bank transfer?

When sending a wire or ACH transfer, enter the memo in the "Memo" or "Reference" field. Note that some banks label this differently — for example, JP Morgan Chase and Mercury both use a field called "Message to Recipient." If you're unsure where the memo goes, check with your bank's support team.

Can I connect multiple bank accounts?

Yes. You can link multiple bank accounts in Account Settings and designate one as your primary settlement destination. You can switch your primary account at any time.
