Payment Links
Create shareable payment links that let customers pay with cryptocurrency from anywhere.
Overview
Payment Links are the fastest way to accept crypto payments. Generate a unique link, share it with your customer via email, SMS, social media, or embed it on your website — and get paid in certified funds directly to your bank account.
Each payment link creates a hosted checkout page that handles cryptocurrency selection, real-time price conversion, wallet address generation, and payment confirmation. No coding required.
Payment Links are ideal for:
- Freelancers and consultants invoicing clients
- E-commerce stores without a custom integration
- Donation and fundraising campaigns
- One-off service payments
- Subscription or recurring billing
How It Works
When a customer opens a Qrypt Payment Link, they're presented with a clean checkout page showing:
- The payment amount in their local fiat currency
- A token and chain selector with real-time conversion rates
- A dynamically generated wallet address (unique per transaction)
- A QR code for mobile wallet scanning
- A countdown timer for the rate lock window
Once the customer sends crypto, Qrypt monitors the blockchain and confirms the payment. The merchant is notified immediately via email, and funds are queued for settlement.

Creating a Payment Link
You can create payment links from the Qrypt Dashboard or via the API. From the Dashboard:
- Navigate to Payment Links in the left sidebar
- Click Create Link
- Enter the payment details:
- Amount — Fixed amount or customer-defined (pay what you want)
- Description — What the payment is for (shown to the customer)
- Reference — Optional internal reference for your records
- Configure optional settings (expiration, redirect URL)
- Click Generate Link
Your link is immediately live and ready to share. You'll also get a QR code that encodes the link for in-person use.
Supported Chains & Tokens
Qrypt supports stablecoin payments across three major blockchain networks, chosen for their speed, low fees, and reliability:
- Solana — USDC, USDB, PYUSD, EURC
- Base — USDC, USDB, EURC
- Ethereum — USDC, USDB
All amounts are processed in whole cents (two decimal places of precision). You can configure which tokens and chains your business accepts in your account settings — this applies globally to all payments.

When a payment is confirmed on-chain, Qrypt converts the cryptocurrency to fiat at the rate locked during checkout. The resulting certified funds are held in your Qrypt balance until the next settlement cycle.
Settlement options include:
- Daily — Funds are batched and sent to your bank account every business day. Cutoff is 6:00 PM UTC.
- Weekly — Settlement every Monday for the previous week's transactions.
- On-demand — Manually trigger a payout from the Dashboard at any time.
Settlement typically arrives within 1–2 business days after initiation, depending on your bank. All payouts are sent as ACH transfers (US) or SEPA transfers (EU).
Customization
Payment Links can be customized to match your brand and business needs:
- Branding — Add your company logo and brand colors to the checkout page
- Custom redirect — Redirect customers to a thank-you page or order confirmation after payment
- Expiration — Set an expiry date/time after which the link becomes inactive
- Usage limits — Limit the link to a single use or allow multiple payments
- Metadata — Attach custom key-value pairs for your internal tracking systems
- Allowed cryptocurrencies — Restrict which cryptocurrencies are shown on this specific link
Best Practices
- Use descriptive names — Include the product or service name in the payment link description so customers know what they're paying for.
- Set appropriate expirations — For time-sensitive offers, set an expiration to avoid stale links. For evergreen products, leave them open-ended.
- Test with small amounts first — Create a test payment link and complete a small transaction to verify your setup before going live with customers.
- Monitor the Dashboard — Check the Dashboard regularly for underpaid or expired transactions that may require customer follow-up.
- Enable multiple chains — Supporting Solana, Base, and Ethereum gives your customers flexibility to pay from whichever network they prefer.
